1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device to remember information between page visits. Under the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and UK GDPR, we have to tell you which cookies we use and, for any that aren't strictly necessary, ask your permission first.
2. Our Approach: Essential Cookies Only
Rosewood Arts does not use advertising or analytics cookies of any kind — no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel, no third-party trackers that follow you across other websites. The only cookies this site sets are strictly necessary ones, required simply to make the site and shop work. Under PECR, strictly necessary cookies are exempt from the requirement to ask for your consent — but we still want to be upfront about exactly what they are.
Our own visit/product-view analytics (see our Privacy Policy, Section 4) run without cookies at all, using information your browser already sends with each page request.

4. Managing Cookies
Because we only use strictly necessary cookies, there isn't a 'reject' option that would leave the site working normally — blocking them means the basket and sign-in won't function correctly. If you'd still like to block or delete cookies, you can do so at any time through your browser's settings; every major browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) has a cookie management section in its privacy settings.
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy if the cookies we use ever change — for example, if we add online card payments or a live chat widget in future, we'll list any new cookies here and, if they're not strictly necessary, ask for your consent first.
