1. About Us

Rosewood Arts is a UK-based handcrafted goods business operated by Sebastian Starostka ("we", "us", "our"). We specialise in flower preservation in resin, wood and slate engraving, and flower lamps, sold through this website (rosewoodarts.com).

2. These Terms

By placing an order or otherwise using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before ordering. We may update these Terms from time to time; the version in force at the time of your order will apply to that order.

3. Products & Descriptions

Every piece we make is handcrafted, and many incorporate real, naturally preserved flowers, mushrooms, wood, or slate. Because these are natural materials, colour, shape, size and texture will vary slightly from piece to piece and from the photographs shown on the website. This natural variation is part of what makes each item unique and is not considered a fault.

We make reasonable efforts to describe and photograph products accurately, but minor variations should be expected.

4. Custom & Made-to-Order Items

Some items are made to order or fully custom to your specification. For these items, we will confirm details, price and estimated completion time with you directly before production begins. Because custom and personalised items are made specifically for you, the statutory right to cancel described in Section 7 does not apply to them once production has started, except where the item is faulty.

5. Orders & Payment

You can order as a guest or by creating an account — an account simply lets you view your order history and save your details for next time; it is never required to place an order.

Placing an order through this website is a request to buy — we will confirm receipt by email, and a separate confirmation once payment has been arranged completes the contract between us. We currently arrange payment directly with you (for example by bank transfer) after you submit an order; online card payment will be added in a future update, at which point this section will be revised.

All prices are shown in British Pounds (£) and include any applicable UK taxes unless stated otherwise. Delivery costs are shown separately at checkout before you confirm your order.

6. Delivery

We deliver within the UK and, where selected at checkout, internationally. Delivery costs and estimated timeframes for each method are shown at checkout. Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed and may vary, particularly for custom orders or during busy periods.

Risk in your order passes to you once it is delivered to the address you provided. Please make sure your delivery address and contact details are correct when ordering.

7. Your Right to Cancel (Returns)

If you are a consumer ordering from within the UK, you have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. To cancel, contact us at rosewoodarts@outlook.com within that period.

This right does not apply to items that are custom-made or personalised to your specification (see Section 4), or to items that have been used or damaged beyond what is necessary to inspect them.

If you cancel within your rights, please return the item in its original condition within 14 days; you are responsible for the cost of returning it unless it arrived faulty or not as described. We will refund you within 14 days of receiving the returned item, using the same payment method you used to pay.

8. Faulty or Damaged Items

If your order arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible with photos where relevant, and we will arrange a repair, replacement, or refund as appropriate. This is in addition to, and does not affect, your other legal rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

9. Intellectual Property

All designs, photographs, and written content on this website belong to Rosewood Arts unless otherwise stated, and may not be reproduced without our permission.

10. Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under UK law. Subject to that, our liability to you for any order is limited to the price you paid for that order.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
